MOF Participates in the 1st Customs Forum "Customs Interests of Ukraine: Challenges and Prospects"

Anna Tyschenko, Director of MOF, took part in the 1st Customs Forum "Customs Interests of Ukraine: Challenges and Prospects," held at the State Tax University in Irpin, on May 7th, 2026.
The event, organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, brought together government officials, business leaders, and experts for an open dialogue on the development of the national customs system.
Strategic Importance for the Logistics Market
For 3PL operators, customs regulation is a daily operational reality. The speed and predictability of customs clearance directly impact delivery timelines, client costs, and the overall competitiveness of the logistics business. Participating in this forum allowed MOF to engage actively at the center of the discussion rather than remaining a mere observer of its outcomes.
The forum featured four key panels:
- Strategic: Focused on customs reform and European
integration.
- Practical: Addressing procedural delays, customs valuation,
and goods classification.
- Business: Discussing cooperation between customs and
entrepreneurs, predictability of procedures, and the transformation of
corruption risks.
- Closing: Aimed at drafting a resolution with
recommendations for the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance, and
the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
MOF’s Position
"Every
unpredictable delay at customs translates into missed deadlines for our
clients, frozen warehouse inventory, and additional costs that businesses are
forced to include in their pricing. We joined this forum to address these
specific issues on behalf of those who experience them daily," stated Anna
Tyschenko, Director of MOF.
MOF
supports the initiative to form a consolidated business position on customs
reform. The company is committed to the genuine digitalization of customs
processes, transparent rules for determining customs value, and the reduction
of systemic clearance delays.
"Our
clients are companies that plan their supply chains months in advance. When
rules change without warning or clearance is halted on opaque grounds, it is
not just the logistics provider who suffers—the client's entire business is
affected. Therefore, we are dedicated to ensuring the market's voice is heard
in these discussions," added Anna Tyschenko.
